After hosting Russell's drawing show two weeks prior, I decided that the space would be a great place to host other art shows and a way to present work outside of the tight-collar school gallery system. For the second showing in this space, I chose a show to which I had applied, but the galleries did not accept. I contacted all of the original participants and heard back from half, but then had two outsiders request to be included. It was to be a one-night-only showing and installation took place just hours before showtime. A few snacks and drinks, and plenty of friends, made this an exciting event to organize and participate. Three cheers to all that showed and visited.

Would love to hear more about the turn out and see more photos of everyone's stuff who participated.
Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you- and your family- making for Yourself (yourselves) a life surrounding art, or in a truly artistic idea- art surrounding your life (or lives).
Either way, hopefully neither are stifled by whatever it's surrounded with.
how profound.
hopefully one day I can attend a show in your living room. start planning an extravagant one around september time-ish.

I'm interested in seeing pictures too! I'm also interested in learning more about Saylor Living Room Gallery proposal procedure.

Another show! Wish we were closer so we could come to one. It's a good thing you aren't loaded down with lots of heavy furniture since you seem to keep moving it in and out!
